The East Hampton Antiques and Design Show returns to Mulford Farm with honorary chairperson Marshall Watson to benefit the East Hampton Historical Society from Saturday July 17th through Sunday July 18th, at Mulford Farm on 10 James Lane, East Hampton, N.Y.

Designers flock in from all points of the globe to attend the highly anticipated event of the season. The East Hampton Antiques show outshines many events Out East for its authenticity. The historic Mulford Farm beckons the discerning intellectual, the writer, the gardener and most importantly, the collector. Mulford Farm is the perfect setting for such an event. One enters the property through a small gate where one can enter a Colonial New England herb and vegetable garden, or the home built in 1680 still with furnishings. Alternatively, one could follow the meandering white clamshell driveway to the Mulford barn filled with timeless collectables, or past the windmill towards the pastoral grounds filled with more vendors. Notable items in the past have included collections from Grey Gardens and attendees have included Martha Stewart and Michael Clinton, writer, photographer and VP of Conde Nast and President of Hearst Magazine Corp.

The focus in the barn has always been time period jewels, elegant tents on the green behind the barn highlight vintage decor, large and ornate garden ornaments, and architectural elements populate the lawn. With more than 50 dealers the assembly becomes diverse. Even Anasazi pottery has been showcased with constellations in the past.

On Friday, Honorary Chairperson, Marshall Watson, a prominent interior designer will host the preview cocktail party which provides patrons the opportunity to purchase collectibles while perusing the property with lite bites and rose Provence. Ticket proceeds from the Preview Cocktail benefit the East Hampton Historical Society.

History runs deep in our community. The East Hampton Historical Society celebrates our past, engages our minds, and helps us to reinvigorate our stewardship responsibilities for future generations to come,” said Honorary Chairperson Marshall Watson, “As a vital community looking to the future, it is imperative that we acknowledge, respect, restore, preserve, and learn from our past.
