It was a splendid day in Central Park with tulips in bloom and wildlife out and about. April had her head raised high trying to catch every ray of light. Her thick whiskers glistened in the sun while tourists took selfies. She paid them no attention. Behind her, a large tent housed beautiful stations via Neuman’s Kitchen. They served tasty nuggets of watermelon, tuna and salmon in small fishbowl like terrariums. The salmon was divine and fresh. The colorful display complimented the passed orange and pink lemonade colored cocktails. They served Gin instead of tea on this spring day but no one seemed to mind. The cocktails were thirst quenching, not too sweet and somehow tasted healthy. Each had a happy yellow pansy to match. How sweet.
Later, guests meandered through the zoo visiting the animals. It was a perfect day.
