On Sunday, December 12th, over 200 guests attended The Nineteenth Annual Cocktails for Compass at Palm Beach’s Club Colette. Cocktails and lite bites were served inside and outside at the private club. Honorable Rufus Gifford, former ambassador to Denmark and Chief of Protocol designee was the guest of honor, while one of Compass’ biggest supporters, the late fashion designer Alfred Fiandaca was honored via a retrospective video.
Members of the Junior Host Committee, Bettina Anderson, Stacey Leuliette, Libby Kirsch, Kristina Bryan, Dusty Dodge, Whitney Hesse, and Sue Jin Lee, modeled vintage Alfred Fiandaca designs with jewels from Palm Beach designer Irene Lummertz. The gowns were loaned by Fiandaca clients and friends Sonja Stevens, Vicky Kellogg and Cheryl Gowdy.
The evening raised $180,000 to engage, empower, and enrich the lives of LGBTQ people in Palm Beach County. Funds support programs and services to forward Compass’ mission.
