N.Y. Celebrity Assistants

My Hamptons Guide was given the opportunity to produce an event for the New York Celebrity Assistant’s Association. The NYCA is a private professional group of personal assistants to celebrities. The celebrities represent film, television, music, philanthropy, fashion, sports, finance, law and politics. The group wanted a low key public space for their private event. My Hamptons Guide selected FLOR Soho as the perfect location. Their showroom is on one of the lesser known cobbled streets of Soho at 142 Wooster. Shawn Linett works with his staff to create and cut carpets into whatever your needs may be. There isn’t anything like it in the market as every carpet is custom. FLOR works with designers, assistants and celebrities for all of their flooring needs and they have a spacious and colorful showroom.

David Noto of Altaneve, seen here with the Altaneve mascott Caoilie, introduced each of the assistants to Altaneve Prosecco, which The Wall Street Journal pondered “Is this the best prosecco in the world? My Hamptons Guide thinks it is, that’s why it was chosen to pair with Lady Elena’s Caviar. The sparkling Rosé is divine. Forbes agrees as they consider it “one of the finest offerings on the market”. Please grab a bottle of each. It took several years of sub-par Prosecco to discover it. Ouch.

Amanda Cross with Sag Harbor Rum & Barritt's Ginger Beer

Amanda Cross, a mixologist and flight attendant, created beautiful dark and stormies with Sag Harbor Rum and Barritt’s Bermuda Ginger Beer. They would remind anyone of a few hour sail from The Hamptons to destinations such as Block Island. Authenticity is key, when it comes to beverages. Sag Harbor Rum and Barritt’s are a beautiful combination or great on their own too. If you go to Block, try Barritt’s on your morning sail home!

Koffi of Koffi’s Jello Bar, brought an array of great jello shots. It’s best to throw something fun in the mix, even with business. How great are these? Koffi can put any brand’s logo on the jello shot.

Michael Croteaux of Croteaux Vineyard introduced Rosé which hails from The North Fork. The Rosé paired nicely with many of the offerings. Croteaux is the only vineyard in the U.S. that exclusively creates only Rosé wines. Croteaux Vineyard is known for it’s Wine On the Run, found in a Citroën H Van sourced from Normandy, France. Starting Memorial Day weekend each year, the truck sits at the vineyard entrance Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 6pm at 1450 South Harbor Road, Southold, on The North Fork.

Beverages

Other libations included Arizona advanced PH vapor water and Honest Iced Tea.

St. Barth Tourisme
St. Barth Tourisme

My Hamptons Guide collaborated with St. Barth Tourism, as it’s one of the most beautiful destinations in the Caribbean that caters to the high net-worth demographic. The Board of Tourism brought the most amazing burlap bags that can be used as a clutch, ipad case or for items that you want to protect for a sunset sail as it’s also made of scuba! How fun is that?

Ajune Spa on 853 Fifth Ave. provided a complimentary facial at their award winning spa. Tribe Tats brought a beautiful sampling of their gold tattoos. They completely compliment a fierce tan! The Wild Hibiscus Flower Co. sent it’s all natural Hibiscus Flower extract for the gift bag. It can be used to flavor water, drinks and food. The extract is similar in flavoring to raw cranberries and has a tremendous amount of health benefits. At first glance the bottle seems to exude the presence of a sweet and sticky extract. This is not the case. It is clean and healthy without a sugary flavor and has endless uses. Lady Elena’s Caviar included candy mints that look just like caviar! Blatt Billiards, a staple in the Hamptons sent a gift of good fortune with a black 8 ball, which is perfect for any desk. FLOR Soho had some great carpet samples ready, which worked perfectly with the 8 Ball to keep it still.
