On Thursday, February 24, 2022, Shop The Day Away Luncheon™, one of the most attended events of The Palm Beach philanthropic season, will benefit Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope (CAHH). This year supermodel Christie Brinkley will be the keynote speaker at The Breakers Hotel, Palm Beach. Janet Levy, Soula Rifkin, and Honorary Chair Cameron Neth, will co-chair the highly anticipated event.
Starting at 10:00am, over 550 lucky guests will peruse over 500 luxury silent auction items which will be presented before the luncheon. Items will include luxury designer handbags, accessories, jewelry, home, beauty, men’s attire, pet products, unique experiences, and much more. Following the silent auction, lunch will be served with keynote Speaker, Christie Brinkley. She will entertain the crowd while they Shop The Day Away, enjoy lite bites and libations at one of the most celebrated locations in the world, The Breakers.
Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope, Inc. is a Palm Beach County not-for-profit organization created to keep families financially stable while their loved ones receive treatment. Financial stability is important for the patient and the family unit, and reduces stress that may ultimately affect health. The Alliance focuses on paying a portion of their non-medical bills, supplementing basic needs, providing support and information resources. Basic needs may include rent, mortgage, utilities, food, auto and health insurance, pet care, and car payments. Payments are made directly to the patient’s creditors.
The Chairs will be supported by the Cancer Alliance Chair Women’s Leadership Group, a distinguished group of accomplished individuals who have joined forces to support the mission of Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope in assisting local cancer patients in their time of need. Christie Brinkley, one of the most recognized faces around the world, will share, anecdotes from her life as an American model, actress and entrepreneur. Christie Brinkley gained worldwide fame with her appearances in the late 1970s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues. She spent 25 years as the face of CoverGirl. She has appeared on over 500 magazine covers and signed contracts with major brands, both fashion and non-fashion. She has also worked as an actress, illustrator, television personality, photographer, writer, designer, and activist for human and animal rights and the environment.
