Here the Arabian horse took center stage in Central Park with some of the riders in colorful and detailed indigenous garb. The fine bred Arabian played an important part in the formation of the culture of the Middle East and is largely significant to this day. The Rolex and Qatar sponsored event highlighted champion riders including Kent Farrington (ranked #1 equestrian in the world), Mclain Ward (ranked #2 equestrian in the world) Georgina Bloomberg, Brianne Goutal, and Jimmy Torano among others. The event spans five days and spotlights different breeds through diverse exhibitions.
