AMERICAN PICNIC WITH FIREWORKS BY GRUCCI

On Saturday, July 2nd, The Southampton Fresh Air Home celebrated Independence Day with its 35th Annual American Picnic with Fireworks by Grucci at a private estate on Meadow Lane overlooking Shinnecock bay. Guests were welcomed with a colorful balloon arch, participants on stilts with red, white and blue attire and more. The children friendly event had two large buffets with American classics served. Guests could find cotton candy, ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs and more. Live music and a silent disco played while the lawn was filled with carnival booths with games and prizes for the guests who attended in American picnic casual attire. The spectacular fireworks display over Shinnecock Bay — orchestrated to patriotic music – was the most anticipated family Fourth of July fireworks event in Southampton.

The 2022 American Picnic Honorary Chairmen were Nicky and Jamie Grant and Catherine Kuehn Price and Malcolm K. Price.  American Picnic Chairmen were Mimi and Andy Crawford, Stephanie and Steve Hessler, Liza and Shaw Joseph, Lulu Keszler and Brendan Manley, Christl and Kenny Meszkat, Whitney and Drew Mogavero, Bronwen Smith, Sophie Elgort and Eric Von Stroh and Ashley and Victor Wu.
