The Elegant affair was attended by esteemed guests such as Sharon Bush, Elenora Kennedy, Kiera Rumbough, Tripp Brower, Errol Rappaport, Dottie Herman, Robert Caravaggi, Nancy Stone, Camilla Webster, Pamela Morgan, Catherine Carey, Jean Shafiroff, Ron Burkhardt, Julie Hayek, and more.

100 percent of the proceeds of the sales of the photos at the exhibit benefit the Palm Beach Police Department Foundation and the Police and Fire Foundation. Police Chief Nicholas P.Caristo and Major John Scanlon second in command were in attendance and were beaming with delight and gratitude for Iris’ love for the department.

On the philanthropic side, Annie was known in Manhattan for her various charity contributions and donations of her time or percentage of the proceeds from print sales. Her “paying it forward” tradition has continued since becoming a full-time Palm Beach resident. Annie holds this annual fundraising bash with support from The Colony owners Sarah and Andrew Wetenhall.

Annie had terrific support from her Event Manager, Alexandra-Dana Gusita, and a fantastic team of society photographers, videographers, social media, and visual creators who were active on-site throughout the whole event.

Located inside the Solarium, over 600 photos were on exhibit, showcasing events and parties, as well as portraits of some well-known celebrities including Tom Hanks, Tommy Hilfiger, Jane Fonda, Barbara Walters, James Earl Jones, Candice Bergan, Sylvester Stallone, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, to name a few, alongside with, of course, many photos of the honored guest Iris Apfel.
