On January 18th, 2023, Café Boulud Palm Beach marked its 20th anniversary with “One Night in Rio,” at the iconic Brazilian Court Hotel. Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud was toasted by long time patrons and he thanked them for their most generous support. Brazilian dancers, fire performers, and a drum line entertained the curated crowd of invited guests.

Lite bites by Boulud were paired with Laurent Perrier, Remy Martin, and Whispering Angel throughout the night. Guests sauntered throught the garden while visiting gourmet stations situated around the courtyard of the Brazilian Court Hotel. Delicacies were prepared by former Café Boulud Executive Chefs Rick Mace and Zach Bell, as well as current Executive Chef, Dieter Samijn.

Distinguished guests included: Chef Daniel Boulud, Katherine Boulud, Richard Schlesinger, Yana Schlesinger, Courtney Schlesinger, Bobby Schlesinger, Michael Kovner,  Jean Doyen de Montaillou,  Adam Schlesinger, Ali Goler, Todd Meadow, Lizzi Bickford Meadow, David Sabin, Armand Doering, Ashley Kozich, Micheal Kovner, Campion and Tatiana Platt, Imre Papp, Todd and Brandie Herbst, Rachel Castle, Ali Goler, Nathan Frank, Susan Magrino. Krystian von Speidel, Kristin McCarthy, Lauren Billings, Carrie Basil, Ginny Becker, with Café Boulud Executive Chefs Rick Mace and Zach Bell, as well as current Executive Chef, Dieter Samijn.

Boulud  fell in love with the Brazilian Court on his first visit to the area, and it was the only choice when deciding to establish his first restaurant outside of New York with hotel owner Richard Schlesinger in 2003. Quickly it became one of the places to be on the island by those in the know. Then, tastemakers, trendsetters and celebrity clientele visited while in the area.

    One of Palm Beach’s

    most coveted dining destinations

The French-American menu, created by Chef Daniel Boulud and Executive Chef Dieter Samijn, parallels that of Café Boulud New York with a touch of South Florida flavor. With a spotlight on the incredible seafood and produce of the region, the menu showcases classic French dishes synonymous with Boulud himself, modernized to suit the cosmopolitan palate of Palm beach: Local Spiced Mahi with Key West Shrimp and Curry Leaf, Pan Seared Scallops with Brussels sprouts and miso jus and the beloved Dover Sole Meuniere, filleted tableside.

The place to see and be seen, the dramatically backlit bar is a must for guests looking to enjoy inventive cocktails and craft beers served throughout the day, or to enjoy the crowd and scenery. The Bar menu, served throughout the day, features dishes perfect for sharing.

The Courtyard Terrace at the Brazilian Court and the restaurant’s elegant Dining Rooms, with a shimmery ceiling made from sea shells and Pecky Cypress, have long been the place for Palm Beach locals to be entertained in style, to throw a lavish event or host a memorable wedding day.

Our wine cellar is filled with vintages from every continent and led by our on-staff sommelier. The impressive array of selections is arranged by grape variety and our team of experts is always available to suggest pairings for your dining experience.

During the high season, jackets are preferred. Shorts and beachwear are not permitted.
