On Wednesday, July 28th, 2021 Holiday House Hamptons opened its doors for a private press preview from 4-5pm then from 5-9 to the public at The Topping Rose House. Holiday House Hamptons highlights members of the design industry and raises funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
Designers, connousours, collectors and those who just want to be in the know gathered at the historic and luxurious hotel which is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The TRH is a 19th century neoclassical estate with a vast lawn, wrap-around porch and country styled barn. Recent additions include a modern styled pool house and additional accommodations to match with state of the art amenities and private rooftop sunbathing. The contemporary design merges gracefully with the historic architecture, thus it’s a sight to be seen, where every view and every moment is special.
The Topping Rose House and Holiday House Hamptons is the perfect collaboration for the design industry’s event. Lite bites were served by Jean George and 4 expressions of Dano’s Tequila were served Blanco, Reposado and Anejo and Pineapple Jalapeño infusion. Harvested, cultivated and distilled at one of the oldest haciendas in the town of Tequila with 180 years of production Haciendas De Reyes has fine tuned its craft product for Dano’s. The batches represent true craft tequila making, the batch numbers are still handwritten. Dano’s Tequila can be found on the mixologist’s menu at The Topping Rose House. Fitting, Dano’s has focused on supporting art, design and film Out East and beyond.
The design event supporting BCRF was founded by Iris Dankner and is co-chaired by Kenneth Alpert, Ashley Stark Kenner, Campion Platt and Andrea Stark. The event is sponsored by Hamptons Magazine, Dano’s Tequila, Cambria, California Closets, Blatt Billiards, 41 Madison and supported by Tim Davis, The Melissa Cohn Group, Topping Rose House, Scented Interiors by Design Limited, Modwell, Jiun Ho, Havens, Harbour, Hamptons Real Estate Showcase.
The Lewis Design Group and Unlimited Earth Care will each design their own chic tabletops to showcase cutting edge décor and lifestyle concepts to be viewed by the design industry. Then 13 leading designers, including Beth Donner Design Group, Brett Helsham Designs, Brittany Marom Interior Design, Cambria x Jiun Ho, Campion Platt Interiors with Heritage Brazil, Christina Nielsen Design, Debra Geller Interior Design, E. Lily Home, Elsa Soyars Interiors, Melanie Roy Design, Root Cellar Designs, and Sarah Lederman Interiors will showcase their designs. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF). To date, Holiday House has raised almost two million dollars for breast cancer research.
