On Friday, February 24, 2023 the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach will host its sixth annual satellite show house event lasting one month.  Situated on the intracoastal just minutes from the Palm Beach inlet,  the Northwood Shores home at 3240 North Flagler Drive has been donated for this most charitable endeavor,  the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club.  Since 1915, Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club has focused on improving and enhancing the lives of New York City’s children who are economically, socially or recreationally disadvantaged. The Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County was founded in 1971. The Club provides a nurturing and safe haven with other children, an alternative to being home alone with a focus on self-esteem and values while promoting the educational, vocational, health, leadership and character of boys and girls.

“We’re thrilled to return to Palm Beach this February to raise essential funds for the youth in New York City and Palm Beach County,” notes James Druckman, President of the Board of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “We’re eager for the design community to come together to celebrate another successful Palm Beach Show House”.

In 1973 a group of designers created and launched the first Decorator Show House to raise critical funds for enrichment programs for the children of N.Y.C. Now the Show House receives as many as 15,000 visitors annually which has raised over $28 million for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. The 20 Boys & Girls Clubs throughout Palm Beach County serve more than 10,000 children ages 6-18 years which are critical periods of growth.

“We are excited to partner again this year with Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club for the sixth annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House,” said Jaene Miranda, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. “Annual events like the Show House allow our Clubs to continue our mission to help as many young people who need us the most to reach their full potential with a plan for their future.”

This year’s single-family home offers a deep-water dock,  a large pool, all with spectacular views of the Intracoastal Waterway, gated entry, elevator, chef’s kitchen, fantastic outdoor spaces, perfect for entertaining, an oversized balcony, covered loggia, a separate guest/staff suite with a full kitchen that sits above the garage. Celebrated interior designers focus on fine furnishings, art, and technology while transforming the interior into a branding experience. Each decorator is given a room as a blank canvas. Design enthusiasts flock to the event which has created design trends around the world.
