Hapag-Lloyd’s Europa II at 225m (738’) is contemporary, spacious, and abundantly filled with natural light. She has put a new spin on the word luxury and it has been called “the ritziest ship in the industry”. With a guest maximum of 500 and crew of 600, the floating resort exudes peace and serenity in an posh atmosphere. Europa II also provides guests with wellness, fitness, entertainment, 7 restaurants, a library and even provides wine and cooking classes with a sommelier and chef. Alternatively, a retractable roof provides sun for a 15 meter long pool, where you can grab a few laps or spend time at the gym, two golf simulators or the spa. Guests have several choices of over-sized state-rooms including the Veranda Suite, at 52m Sq. Each comes with a full bed, large walk in wardrobe and a full living room. Guests may gaze at the sea seated at a dining table or from one of two sun chairs. Each room boasts a bathroom with two sinks,tub and a full shower and separate privy. Each evening the butler leaves caviar and Champagne in the suite.

Each morning guests may have breakfast in bed, or saunter to the stern of the ship, where an abundant breakfast buffet is waiting. There, passengers can enjoy gourmet breakfast with the elements of the salty sea air, sun and sounds of the sea. It is truly a delightful experience. 56 Chefs create gourmet dishes with high gastronomic standards in the seven restaurants which include Weltmeere, the largest and provides an international range of dishes, next Tarragon which tempts the palate with French cuisine, Elements provides an Asian theme and flair, Serenissima tantalizes those taste-buds craving Italian dishes and finally Sakura is where you will find high quality sake and sushi. The sommelier has procured over 600 varieties of wine for guests to pair with their culinary delights. Guests may meander through the ship, where they may enjoy over 890 works of art commissioned with such artists as Ólafur Elíasson, David Hockney, Damien Hirst, Adam Fuss and Hans Hartung. Finally, there are six bars to choose from: Herrenzimmer, Sansibar, the Jazz club, Belvedere, the pool bar and the piano bar.
