    Jillian Griffiths comes off as sweet but you can recognize her tough undertones. These are one of the things that I admire about her. She gets the job done with no nonsense. Her family was among some of the first settlers in East Hampton. Since then, they have watched estates for 4 generations including the estate on Gardiner’s Island.

    Today Griffith’s Property Management handles homes from 2,000 sq ft to 19M estates with anything from changing light bulbs and setting ant traps to securing jets, drivers and chefs. All of this can be provided while making sure your home or estate is in immaculate condition and working order inside and out. They go beyond a typical management company, as they also provide concierge services.

    The other evening Jillian canceled attending an event. I called to check in on her and she said that she had perfected an estate for move in but raccoons had taken residence before the homeowners did. She was already on the property and had Dell Cullum working on the task of removing three nursing raccoons and their mother. It took Dell and Jillian about 24hours for removal, as the raccoons were nestled deep inside of an air duct. Dell owns Hamptons Wildlife Removal and Rescue. He is one of the leading rescuers of the Hamptons and is a huge advocate for wildlife out on The East End.

    “Spread the word folks – if you find a fawn, leave it alone. If you find a baby raccoon(s), leave them alone. If you drive a car, SLOW DOWN AND PAY ATTENTION. We live on a narrow island with an abundance of awesome wildlife. If you see a turtle in the road, STOP AND MOVE IT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN THE DIRECTION IT WAS GOING or FACING.” Dell says.

    Jillian uses the best of the best on The East End and makes sure someone is there to check on the progress. She suggests weekly or bi-weekly property checks. However, monthly checks can be provided too. The Management company oversees house cleaning, handyman services, beach permits, registration stickers to landscaping needs. Each company that they use is licensed, insured and a constant contact as they may be working on several projects for several clients at one time.

    Let’s not forget about the family pet. Walkers, watchers and even pet chefs can be provided. Perhaps a pet needs a companion?

    Griffith’s can also provide a project manager for your construction needs or get quotes for the projects for the property. Rental registry and town permits can also be secured. Some of this paperwork can be difficult to navigate if it’s your first time.
