On December 6, The Holly Jolly Symphony held it’s sixth annual event at the Cohen Pavilion of the Kravis Center with 370 guests in West Palm Beach. Champagne, spirits and lite bites were served while guests were given a bounty of silent auction items to peruse by Auction Chair Marietta Muiña McNulty.

Holiday carols and songs filled the air and lifted spirits as guests were greeted by the student choir Dimension 20 of Forest Hill High School and the Woodwind Quintet from Lake Worth Community High School.

Honorary Chairs Amy and John Collins, Chairs Karen and Kenneth Rogers, and Vice Chairs Sheryne and Richard Brekus delivered a holiday treat of glorious music with the support of a dedicated host committee, the Ladies Guild and the Music Men.

The very successful holiday luncheon raised $235,000 for world-class music, community outreach, and music education programs throughout Palm Beach County. Through an expansive online silent auction with 295 items, table sponsorships, ticket sales, and donations, generous supporters helped raise such vital funds to support music education and instrument donations!

“Thanks to our community, we donated 43 instruments to music students and recognized Paul Destito, Assistant Band Director at Bak Middle School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, as the 2022 Palm Beach Symphony Instrumental Music Teacher of the Year. What a fantastic accomplishment for our community that would not be possible without your help. We are so appreciative of your generosity and support of this wonderful event. We hope it made your holiday season merry and bright.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.”

David McClymont, President of Palm Beach Symphony
