Break the Love’s online destination for racquet sports focuses on public play spaces enabling its members access to the permit system, tennis education, and safety features focusing on women, girls, and minorities. The platform and founder Trisha Goyal aim to make tennis a sport accessible to everyone even at private clubs via player club drops and anti-bullying initiatives.

Break the Love is hosting events across the country for women of all ages, races, and tennis skill levels in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX.

On August 6th 1971, 37 words were written by Senator Birch Bayh which introduced the amendment to the Higher Education act (1965), which was passed on June 8, 1972.

The following is the original text as written and signed into law by President Richard Nixon in 1972:

No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

Although the act was not specifically written for those in athletics, it certainly has adhered to the advancement and inclusion of women in this field.
