Super Saturday

Saturday, July 29, marked the 20th year of Super Saturday in Bridgehampton at the beautiful Nova’s Ark Project which is comprised of 94 acres of art installation created to celebrate and preserve the land as a sculpture park, horse pastures, fields and galleries. Donna Karan and Liz Tilberis, the late Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar and President of OCRF created Super Saturday in 1998.

Now, Donna  Karan,  Kelly Ripa, Gabby  Karan de  Felice,  Rachel  Zoe,  and  Molly  Sims hosted the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance event which brought in 3 million. Attendance included:  June  Ambrose, Rodger  Berman,  Zoe Buckman,  Luann  D’Agostino, Ellen Karis, Judith  and Rudy Giuliani, Fern  Mallis, Carolyn Maloney, Jill Martin, Bibhu Mohapatra, Cathy Moriarty-Gentile, Tinsley Mortimer, David Muir, Marysol Patton, Mery Racauchi, Jenna Rose, Sundy Schermeyer, Rosanna Scotto, Brooke Shields, Scott Stuber, Eboni Williams, Alex Woo, and Chris Wragge.

St Ambroeus catered the event which included several large buffets with salmon, Caprese salad, pasta salad and more. Designers and shoppers were able to mingle under a rather large shopping tent, a VIP tent and at the carnival created for the children. Gimme Shelter brought several adoptable pets, Urban Zen offered Reiki sessions, Kendra Scott brought a manicab, B Floral created floral crowns and Project Lyme, gave out towels while 125 iconic fashion brands participated in the designer shopping event. Notables included Karl Lagerfeld Paris, alice+Olivia, Bonpoint, Urban Zen, Brooks Brothers, Carolina Herrera New York, DKNY,, Kravet, L’AGENCE, French Connection, Ramy Brook, Robert Graham, Suite 1521, Sigerson Morrison, Theory, Vilebrequin and more. Shoppers are known to arrive early, so keep that in mind for next year.

OCRFA and QVC united once again for “QVC Presents Super Saturday LIVE,” with proceeds to benefit OCRFA. “QVC Presents Super Saturday LIVE” has generated more than $11 million since 2007.
